LYNORIQ for Zoom
Last updated: October 9, 2026
After a meeting you host and record to the Zoom cloud, LYNORIQ brings in Zoom's own transcript — with speaker names — and turns it into client memory: a summary, commitments, client facts and what changed since your last conversation. This guide covers adding, using and removing the app.
Requirements
- A LYNORIQ account. Create one if you don't have one.
- A Zoom plan that includes cloud recording (Zoom's free Basic plan does not).
- For Zoom's transcript with speaker names: in Zoom, go to Settings → Recording → Cloud recording and turn on Audio transcript. Without it, LYNORIQ transcribes the recording's audio instead.
Adding the app
- Open the LYNORIQ listing in the Zoom App Marketplace and click Visit Site to Add — or go straight to app.lynoriq.com/connect/zoom.
- Sign in to LYNORIQ, or create an account.
- Zoom asks you to allow LYNORIQ to read your profile and your cloud recordings. Click Allow.
- You return to LYNORIQ (Settings → Integrations), where the Zoom card shows Connected.
Each person connects their own Zoom account: recordings belong to whoever hosted the meeting.
If your plan can't record to the cloud, the Zoom card says so — nothing will arrive from Zoom until the plan includes cloud recording. LYNORIQ checks the plan again each day, so upgrading Zoom needs no reconnecting.
Using the app
- Host a Zoom meeting and click Record → Record to the Cloud. Zoom shows everyone that the meeting is being recorded.
- End the meeting. Zoom processes the recording; this usually takes a few minutes, longer for long meetings.
- When Zoom's transcript is ready, the meeting appears in LYNORIQ under Meetings, named after the Zoom topic or the matching calendar event.
- Open it for the summary, commitments and client facts. LYNORIQ links it to the right client and updates that client's memory and What changed.
What LYNORIQ accesses
- Your Zoom profile: account ID, user ID, name, email and plan type.
- Cloud recordings and transcripts of meetings you host. Not meetings you only attend, and not recordings saved to your computer.
Troubleshooting
- Nothing arrived: check the meeting was recorded to the cloud (not to your computer) and that you were the host. Zoom's processing can take up to the length of the meeting.
- No speaker names: turn on Audio transcript in Zoom's cloud recording settings for future meetings.
- "Reconnect" on the Zoom card: click it and allow access again.
Removing the app
You can remove LYNORIQ in either place:
- In Zoom: sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace, go to Manage → Added Apps, find LYNORIQ and click Remove.
- In LYNORIQ: go to Settings → Integrations and click Disconnect on the Zoom card.
When you remove the app in Zoom, LYNORIQ immediately deletes the connection and its access tokens and stops receiving your recordings. Unless you chose to let LYNORIQ keep your data, it also deletes the meetings it created from your Zoom recordings. Meetings already in LYNORIQ otherwise follow your workspace's retention settings, and you can delete any of them at any time. See the privacy policy for details.
